John Hipskind, Founder of Hipskind & McAninch, LLC, Joins Lindenwood University

John Hipskind, a founding partner of Hipskind & McAninch, has joined the staff at Lindenwood University – Belleville as an adjunct professor. John will begin teaching Business Law in the Spring Quarter.

“Lindenwood University is a world-class school that provides excellent opportunities for students, young and old, throughout the entire St. Louis metropolitan area,” said John Hipskind.  “I look forward to working with its students, faculty, and staff; and perhaps learning almost as much as I teach.”

John was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, and has lived in the area most of his life. John received his undergraduate degree and master’s degree from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. He received his law degree from Oklahoma City University.

Before starting his own firm, John worked at one of St. Louis’ preeminent civil litigation firms. John has litigated many cases and represented some of the largest corporations in the United States in high-stakes litigation.

John’s skills inside and outside of the courtroom have resulted in numerous positive settlements and verdicts for his clients. Since founding Hipskind & McAninch, LLC, John has obtained many more favorable results on behalf of his clients and was selected as a 2016 Rising Star in litigation by Super Lawyers (his second year in a row receiving this honor). John practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, and family law.

Said John, “I look forward to bringing the same passion I give to my clients toward teaching at Lindenwood University.”
